Homemade Hair Growth Masks For Every Type Of Hair

Our hair is made up of a protein called keratin that is produced in the hair follicles. A hair follicle produces new hair cells and anchors each hair into the skin. As new hair cells are brought to the surface, old cells are being pushed out at the rate of about six inches a year. So, in case you wonder why your hair does not hurt when you cut them, well it is because you are cutting a string of dead keratin cells.

The amount of hair the average person has on their head varies from one individual to another. Anyway, an average adult has about 100,000 to 150,000 hair strands and loses up to 100 of them a day.
